Tip for early on

If you are trying to upgrade your steel weapons early on in the game, and you have the Green Minion in your army, the best way to do it is to first upgrade your weapon by killing the sheep for brown lifeforce (right, everyone knows that.... I know.) Then take your new powerful mace out to the first spawn point in Evernight. Summon all the browns possible, then follow the path straight ahead killing all the green beetles (small and large), then left over the log (you through the water) then destroy all the beetles on the next patch of land, then go back to your tower. Reenter Evernight and continue on as much as you'd like.

You'll earn 50 green lifeforce in a minute tops this way. No where near as fast as killing all the beetles in the dungeon later on, but still a tip for early on.

It's a good tip indeed. In the early stages when you aren't as good in the dungeon there are two spots that are essential for lifeforce harvesting.

Mellow Hills (browns) and Evernight (greens), since the two areas are connected you can just keep running between them and you will get plenty of lifeforce quickly. It is still no substitute for the dungeon, so once you can kill stuff in there head right on over.

there is a better place then the mellow hils for browns. the sheep area behind the tower gate at Heaven's Peak, just kill the guy and tyou have a lot of sheep to kill

But then you have to walk for ages to the nearest dungeon or teleport back to your tower for them to respawn, in Mellow Hills you can just walk into Evernight and get some green lifeforce, then walk back into Mellow Hills and get some more brown lifeforce =)
