Just wondering what people think "New Game +" is. I'm assuming it can only be accessed after finished the game but is it then you can keep all your abilities and play through again? Is it a higher difficulty? Will there be any new content?
What do you guys think?

9/10 times new game+ you play after beating the game at least once... you retain all your abilities and stats and equipment and stuff... some games let you crank up the difficulty some games make you play it one the same difficulty that you beat the game on the first time... I love games that have this option cuz it just gives me more incentive to wanna play it more:uzi::eek:

It doesn't seems to matter much, at lease to me, because I've played the first a few times and I'm actually on another playthrough right now.

Well I hope that it's like that. Sounds pretty good. And gives a good reason to playthrough again incase missed some achievements (and just for fun of course)

Yeah, in this there are two parts of the NG+ feature. The classic one in which you retain all your collected items, upgrades, etc. And a second part that basically activates "Hard Mode" where the enemies are harder to kill and you do not receive as many hints during battle or gameplay.

Question on "Hard Mode". Do you start the game with all the collected item/skill/experience, or nothing?

Well, reading my post again it may have sounded like I was describing two different modes. "Hard Mode" is something I completely made up to describe what happens during the NG+ playthrough. I just mean that in addition to keeping all your items and upgrades (the classic description of NG+), this game specifically also changes the gameplay so it is harder than your original playthrough.
Most games, in a NG+ nothing changes, you're just uber powerful and you can blast through the game. This one isn't like that. It changes the difficulty to account for the fact that you are starting off more powerful.

Interview from comic con stated that the hard mode would be the new play + and that the enemy AI would be soo challenging that the player would need all of their upgraded wayne tech to finish the game.
Sounds like fun.:drunk

I thought i read some where that you would start off with all the gadgets on your first playthrough, maybe you can upgrade them during your first playthrough ready for new game +

There has never been an instance where New Game Plus has made a game worse. It's one of my favorite features of any game that has it. I'm super-psyched that Arkham City has it. Super-pumped.

For this game, I would have MUCH preferred New Game + to give you the ability to play through the main game as Robin. That would have been so incredible.
