You can use cheats on Far Cry, but as far as I'm aware none of the other games you listed have any cheats on them.

Try Prey, that game pretty much has an infinite continue cheat already turned on for you.

Also, you'll want to use a guide with Far Cry to find all of the hidden vials so you don't have to go through it several times. Unless you're going for the achievement for beating both Predator and Instincts on every difficulty, then just do what you want.

Saints Row is a no. It ends up locking out the achievements for that Save file. So if you put cheats on Save File 1, you would have to make Save File 2 to get achievements.

He means using cheat codes that are developed into the games. Not glitches, hacks, or gamesaves.

Far Cry I thought was a no-no. And if I remember correctly once you put the codes in you couldn't undo it AND you wouldn't get the achievements either

No. I wouldn't say trying to phase out cheats, it's just that since these games now have achievements attached to them, the programers are trying to keep things fare. Imagine if every game had cheats AND you could get achievements with them, everybody's score would be in the 100ks.

Personally,
I'm not a big fan of the cheats to get an achievement stuff. I am anguishing through the campaign in GRAW on Hard and I have noo intentions on using a code to help me unlock an achievement.
It wouldn't really feel like an achievement iin the end to me.
Some games are made easy, others are more of a challenge, and I think a challenge is what makes it more fun, sometimes.
Also that's what makes those achievements really valuable.

You can use cheats in Far Cry. I used every cheat I could find to beat the game and received every achievement.

For the other games you listed, I'm almost positive that either you can't use cheats to get the achievements, or there are no cheats available. But I'm 100% sure you can use any cheat you want and will still be able to receive every achievement in Far Cry.

You can use them for Far Cry.

Im pretty sure I used a couple here and there for health and the simple stuff, and I still got them eventually. I think.

So far I played GRAW, Saints Row, Rainbow Six Vegas, and Far Cry with cheats on. GRAW, Rainbow Six Vegas, and Far Cry were the only game that still gave me achievement. It good that most 360 games make give up the ability to earn achievement points. Now gamers have to work a little harder to earn achievements.

You can use cheats in Blazing Angels and still get the achievements. Which is fourtunate because the arcade mode is really damn annoying.
