Console Server Browser

So, according to the official BF3 Twitter feed (http://twitter.com/#%21/Battlefield), consoles will be getting a server browser.

Great news for our console BF fans! In today's #GamesCom (http://twitter.com/#%21/search?q=%23GamesCom) interviews DICE GM Karl Magnus (@L_Twin (http://twitter.com/L_Twin)) confirms console server browser in #BF3 (http://twitter.com/#%21/search?q=%23BF3).I am very happy to hear this. How many times have you joined a game in progress to find 3 or 4 other players in the game? Then backed out and find the same on a different server? This regularly happens to me playing HC Rush late at night and server browsers would definately help in that regard.

There's also the many different types of server options to choose from, as on PC there will be many like HC, no vehicles, instant vehicle respawn, fast infantry respawn etc, any combination of these, although I think it it's wishful thinking that console would get all those different servers.

I'm absolutely fine with that. Fantastic news. I just hope they don't go the way of COD and introduce lobbies, in which you sit on a menu for about 1 minute of nothing-ness until the game decides to start.

Thats amazing, finally i will ensure that the server i am joining is not only going to be full of players but also have a good connection. I have nothing against other countries or nationalities, but i want the best connection possible thus people in my region only.

I am happy about this due to in the paste when playing late at night I have joined games with no one else.

That's really great, I've always wondered why PC games (99%) only show the servers.
