I have been looking but can't find the answer. I have 2 games that i beat when I wasn't on live so it just says 1000 and acquired but no date. When i go into MGC it says insert the discs...does that mean that if I put in the disc the date will appear? I have a few Gears achievements before I even got xbox live that have no date either and i play the game constantly but no date appears...so why does MGC ask for me to insert the disc to "find" the Gamerscore?

There is no way of fixing it. The reason MGC says what it does is because once you add your name to MGC it tracks you over live. If you play a game offline it doesn't register with MGC until you put the game well on live and then it picks up the achievement. So basicly MGC has a running score for you, live has a score and the don't added up. Way it's this way I don't know.

Yeah some of my achievements have no date, like Guitar Hero cause I played at a place without Live, or internet went out.. oh well, life goes on

The reason why there is no date attatched is because your time/date settings on your Xbox aren't verifiable. Otherwise, you could go offline, change the date, nab some achievements, then log back in and 'voila' ..

Can't see how this would be relevant, but it's the best guess that I have to offer.

Also don't sweat gamesave accusations .. it's pretty easy to spot a 'gamesaver' .. and having offline achievements doesn't automatically put you under suspicion.

yea if you have a couple offline achievements here and there it shouldn't make you "OMG GAMESAVER." actually how "easy" is it to be able to spot one? i mean there might be ways, but there's no clear way that i can think of.
