View Full Version : Flowerz - cannot download it.

My girlfriend got a new wp7 phone: HTC Trophy 7 and I installed all the phone updates, the zune updates but when I try to install Flowerz it gives me the same message everytime : "You need to update your phone using the Zune software on your computer. Some Zune and Marketplace experiences may be limited until you update".
when I check on my Zune website, it says that all updates are installed.

Anybody have the same problem? How do I fix this problem?

Yeah I recently got a HTC HD7 and I get the same error message every time I try to download the game even though my phone is fully updated.

I had the same problem so I just connected my wp7 to the pc and downloaded it via zune.
Hopefully it'll work for you aswell.

Downloading via Zune is not available in Belgium. We can only download music and movies.
Any other options? Or do we have to wait untill the mango release this fall?

You have to download Zune and 'purchase' Flowerz through their marketplace. Then you sync up your phone to your PC and then disconnect and try installing.

That's the problem. Marketplace on Zune is unavailable in Belgium. Guess we have to wait for Mango then.

I was also having this same problem when I first got my Windows phone. However, I tried playing around with the phones settings to see if there was anything I could do and discovered I had cookies turned off.. so I set it to 'allow cookies' and since then there have been no problems downloading anything. Also remember to make sure you're connected to wi-fi but most downloads prompt you to anyway if you're not already connected.

Thanks for the tip but cookies were already allowed. I guess we'll have to wait for marketplace to appear on our Zune.

Just tried downloading on my HD7 after not trying for a few weeks because it never works and today it just worked randomly.

Maybe yesterday a marketplace update because it was acting weird yesterday (downloads all stuck at 99%, offline, connectingproblems,...)
