Tips for race 7?

hi, I've gotten every single achievement in the game except completing race 7 (and completing all races). every time i try it there are a million cars on the little thin winding road and if i try passing on the dirt i end up hitting a rock and my car flys off the cliff, i tried using the gyro copter but when i position myself behind the starting line the guy yells that I'm brave and the countdown never starts, any tips to doing this race because I'm hungry for my first 1k game

i ended up using a motorcycle for it, you can dodge the cars. you have to be careful to stay on road most of the time because if you hit something and go flying off, you lose and must restart.

yea, still no dice, the bike even made it harder cuz now i can hit those little sticks off the road and fail instantly

I used the agency jeep (the hummer looking thing). It can take a beating and pretty much run people off the road if you run into them. That way you don't have to worry as much about dodging stuff (though the more you dodge the quicker you'll go). I too found this to be the hardest race in the game. Good luck.

just keep on repeating it ull do it eventually, and i think chewys way is best with the jeep thingy it worked for all the races i have doen

I did this before I got live (offline account). I use a helicopter and decrease altitude when there is those checkpoint things...
