July BC Update and Morrowind GotY Edition

Hey all. I hope this is the right place for a thread like this, and apologize if it's not. I looked around and couldn't find a thread on the BC update that dropped today.

For those of you that play the occasional achievement-less game on your 360s, could anybody tell me if the new BC update allows Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition, or if only the basic version of the game is supported? If GotY is playable, I'm going to have to buy it, but I'd rather not buy the vanilla version if the expanded one is workable.

Anybody able to help an RPG geek out?

I don't see why it wouldn't count as the regular Morrowind, so if Morrowind is playable then the GOTY edition should be too. If you want to check you could send an email to Microsoft and hope they reply, or track down someone else with it.

Trial and error means potentially buying two variant copies of the same game, and I'm cheap. :) I was hoping somebody here might actually have GotY and could give it a spin for me. The reason I'm not sure about GotY is because it actually adds a couple of expansion packs, and for all I know that makes the BC emulator hack up a lung or something.

They just did a new update. Unfortunately I didnt see this on the list. I have really been wanting to play Morrowind, and it's two expansions.:(

But at least they finally put my favorite horror game of all time on there :) Silent Hill2: Restless Dreams. Hands down a classic. A couple of months ago actually i went into my local gamestop and i had been telling myself that if i EVER saw silenthill2 again i would buy it. Well i found it in the store, but before i could buy it the employee informed me it was not BC :(

Now i must begin the search again!

I can confirm it, my Brother has Morrowind Gold edition and the 360 doesn't support it however it supports my copy of just Morrowind. So the expansions don't work as of now. I still don't think you get the full morrowind experience without playing bloodmoon. Best expansion pack ever created in my oppinion.
