Ultimate Horde pointers

If you are having problems unlocking the Ultimate Horde achievement try this.


Running around with 50 Browns in the Ruborian Village seems most logical because they can actually equip everything and may actually be possible to achieve 400% with, but I could not get it and if it can be done I would think it would take VERY long. Instead get about 30 browns at 400% and then park them on guard somewhere. The game automatically puts the weaker minions back into the pits first so just throw some in there until your attack reads 400%. Now pull out a different color minion. In in the end I had 31 browns, 13 blues and 6 reds.

heh yeah, I saw some people still saying they couldn't break 380-393% so I was just showing the different colors I used. :)

When I did it, I found it easiest to pull out browns until the number dropped below 400%; send the "extras" back, then waypoint the bunch that were already maxed nearby.

That done, pull out 5-10 minions who aren't maxed, take them into the ruins and have them smash everything; one trip ought to take care of them (if it even takes a full one). Return to the waypoint, park that team there, grab another 5-10, repeat. If you smash everything in the village, just use the gate to warp back to the tower and return; all the vases and chests will reset.

Doing this (and starting with only 15 maxed out minions), it only took about 20 minutes to get the Achievement. If you go in with the whole horde, sometimes minions who are already capped will be getting in the way or claiming things they shouldn't, which means the less equipped guys don't get what they need, which in turn makes it take far longer than it needs to.
