hello, I'm new here and had a trivia question for you. what game was the first game that had achievement points? Also I was wondering if there is a list that has every game that has achievement points. thanks for your time!:uzi:

every game has achievement points except for Quake 2 (well it has some achievements but they are worth 0)

Ghost Recon : Island Thunder had achievements and it was an Xbox game. True, they didn't give you points and you couldn't compare them with other people, but you still had to do specific stuff in the game to unlock them. Conker Live & Reloaded had badges which were kind of achievements. In both games you also unlocked stuff like in game content when you got them.

Someone already said the launch games were the first to have achievement points so I graced you all with the knowledge of pre-360 achievements rather than keep adding more posts with 'launch titles' as the answer =P

I said that they didn't have points, but they were the first achievements. Points or not =) Plus back then they were actually difficult to get unlike the whippersnapper achievements today.

There was the thing EA had one year for all there sports games. I can't remember what they called it, but you got a score and progressed levels by playing the different games. It only lasted one, but I would probably consider that to be the first incarnation of achievements.

This was still going on when the 360 launched. I recall playing Fight Night fed into it...if you went to the EA site.

I mean, sure it was released LONG before it ever had the points,,but it was the first one.
