Wow, I'm starting to like this game more and more. Being a movie game I was expecting the achievements to be more or less story-related but it looks like some actual thought was put into the achievements. Looks like every level will have its own mini-challenge in the Hero achievements. Not a big fan of movie games, but this achievement list coupled with the impressive trailers make this a possible buy for me. I guess the reviews once the game is released will seal the deal for me.

There's no way to confirm since the game hasn't been released, but both the Sidekick (Easy) and Hero (Normal) achievements contain the phrase "(or harder)" so they are virtually certain to be stackable unless sega botches it.

What is it with certain games and nonstackable achievements? Two playthroughs..fine, I can stomach that if it's a good game and I'm looking for a new challenge. But some guys requiring 3 or even 4 difficulties, that's just annoying.

im thinking its either really comon, or mission related. should have made it a secret achievements, then maybe it'd be cooler. Most achievements that seem really cool, turn out to be pretty basic, but non-the less looks awesome anyways.

Trailers of this game looked pretty cool and so does the achievement list. Im also fan of Marvel comics so i might just buy this game!

I agree, like BulletWitch.And finishing it on Hell only gives 1 point.Which is the gayest achievemnet ever.

I've seen 2 realease dates, 2 May and 2 October.So I don't really know when it is.

I play for fun too and am definitely a fan of Iron Man. I just don't have much faith in comic book games being good.

The game will most likely come out in May with the movie.
On another note: I saw the figures at Target yesterday. If your a collector of that kind of stuff get out and swoop them up before the e-bay scum power sellers catch on.

I hope the 360's back by or before May. I was starting to lose interest in games. But reading up on things like this have got me excited. I'm really surprised at how interesting this game looks. Obviously most people were thinking 'just another movie game' but it looks like it was actually taken seriously and if not more than others.

I'm just surprised there isn't on that involves upgrading everything. I'm kind of sad not to see one, but oh well I'm still going to do it. I want to upgrade my armor to fire out mini iron mans, that punch my enemies to death.

The achievements look hard in my opinion. I like that there's been some thought put in them. However, I can't help but think that this is going to require several hours in order to get the full 1000.

I'm playing a nearly finish version of the game, and just done this achievment. There's a mission that you must combat some airplanes, and must grab the planes. It's not so easy, since they are quick, mas need only a few tries.

I think that this list of achievements looks sweet. And the previews I've seen rock. I just hope that it's not another case of lots of hype/advertising based around a known name that then supplies weak/shitty gameplay.

I've just finished it and got all but two achievements (Hero and Super Hero).
I'd recommend playing through on easy first and you should be able to unlock all the mid mission achievements with not to much trouble along with the One Man Army Ones. This game is a bitch on hard so you don't want to be messing about trying to get achievements.

If you start on easy, you can knock out 850g within a few hours. Make sure you know what you need to do for each achievement though.

Yea, I just finished the game on easy, with the 850g. It's actually quite fun if you play through it on easy, I tried starting on Formidable and almost gave up playing the game altogether. I definitely had to give up on that difficulty though. So I'm gonna try it a second time with a better armour. Although I plan to use the Silver Centurion, but that loses defense for offensive gain. And the biggest problem for formidable for me was getting hit with missiles every other second. The huge difficulty gap makes those last two achievements hard to get. But the other 37 were great.

Especially when you grapple with the HulkBuster armour. If it wasn't an achievement, I would have missed that awesome moment. =D

Ok, I have a legitimate Question about the Excelsior achievement. Now my question is do I need to beat times and kill the required amount of enemies for the levels ? or what cause obviously I am missing the Excelsior achievement even though I did every single hero quest and got the achievements for those. So anyone chime in.

No to the first part.
They must all be done on the same difficulty though, might want to check that.

I would say 5-6 hours is all it takes on easy. I'm TRYING to get done on hard now, but this Save Pepper is not being too much fun...

EASY 850gs as you can get those on the easy difficulty. HARD (well very frustrating at least) to get the last 150gs. Well maybe the 75 you get for beating it on normal aren't too bad....but I can't see playing through three times since the difficulty achievements are stackable.

Its not that bad. I think its a good game if you are a fan of comic books.

I like this better than GTA4 which takes about 5 hours of gameplay before you can start blowing things up.

Just my opinion not ever game is going to be gold. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
