First off the graphics are superb, and they really made it so that you have te feeling that you're fighting a desparate battle for survival. I also like the replay feature where you can see the last 10 or so seconds of gameplay from different angles.

The gameplay remembered me a lot of crimson skies (the pc one) since you have to dogfight a lot and while the controls are fairly good I still end up crashing into planes and the water from time to time. Besides that it seems the game might get a little repetive if al you do is shoot down airplanes. But than again it's only the first level. So who knows what Namco has in store for us. Oh and it's quite annoying that there aren't any checkpoints. At least I haven't seen any.

Not into airplane games but I did like the demo a lot. It was fun and realistic but I won't be buying it though. Maybe later next year around summer time, hopefully it'll be 30 at least by that time. Overall, real good game, I just rather buy other titles that I find more important than this.

SP demo was awesome. Been eager to get my hands on this game for a while and this is most likely a (yet another :P) purchase for me :P

i loved the graphics but reading the HUD was confusing and i wish there was more control for the radar so that one can actually figure out WTF is going on ... but than again this is supposed to be an arcade game and for that its awesome :) graphics were superb, can't wait to get my hands on it

This is going to fall into the "Probably" category. I'm not sure I like it, at the same time I want to learn more. I'll most likely wait a few weeks after it's out before I get my copy, to gather information.

what i mean to say that the game is not simulation, it's meant to cater wide audience so there are no complicated controls etc as far as i could say, nothing like say for instance like Falcon 4.0 (old school but still rocks :) )

What is the game like? I have never played an Ace Combat game, I'm pretty sure they are plane games? Lol. Will be downloading the demo to try it out later.
