Green 360!

Announced at E3, there's going to be a green 360. It's Halo 3 special edition. there's also going to be some new accessories that go along with the console.

Pretty interesting, but kind of ugly. I really didn't like the orange disk tray and border on the harddrive. We'll also need to find out the specs on it, is it a painted elite, or core, or what.

PS. Whenever found post those Halo 3 movies up. The live action one was insane.

It'll be sometime in September which is all he mentioned. More than likely a week or two before Halo 3 releases or possibly the same day.

Thats possible, but I thought the movie was on hold permanently. Then again everyone was lied to about Gears for PC. I personaly like the look of it and they did mention something about Peter Jackson doing something in with Halo Universe so hopefully its a go.

not only does the orange make it really ugly, it's only 20 gig...... pfffft no way i'll give up my 120 gig elite for that ugliness. of the halo 3 accessories coming out the only one i'll get is the wireless headset simply because i need a second one and they don't make a black one (don't want both to be white 'cause i'll loose track as to which one is charged and what-not)

BTW the system as well as the controllers and headset will release alongside the game. Don't expect extras, though... Preorder or wonder "what if?"

I know for a fact the headset will be sold separately. MS confirmed its existence last month. To speculate I would guess controllers will be sold separately also.

The magic words 'Halo 3' instantly make it vomit worthy regardless of the crappy colour scheme. If you want one then just dip your 360 is some paint and glue a chocolate orange wrapper to the chrome bits.

This doesn't help the 360s image as the HaloBox, why didn't they make a limited edition Viva Pinata console that is made from cardboard and paper and has delicious treats for you and me inside? I'd buy one.

It's supposed to look 'military'. And it does, somewhat. I don't mind it, but it won't fit in with the rest of the gang in the entertainment center. And even if it did, that 20GB HHD insults my mother. And I love my momma.

its just like the halo 3 zune. it has a number 3 on it and some pinstriping nothing special. the halo 2 face plate is better and cheaper. when the halo 3 360 it just like the regular white xbox.

My mistake, I'm a human... I mistook the fact this Halo console is supposed to be so superior with its accessories that it would be the wireless one and did not notice that its wired, so thats my mistake.

As for the seperate controllers that have the McFarlane graphics I know have nothing to do with this console because I'm the one who reported it on this site. But do you think MS with all of its whoring-outness of Halo 3 would not sell additional green controllers seperately? Personally I like all of my accessories to match but thats just me. What I can tell you though is that there will be a light blue and pink controller made available at some point in time.

Did you ever see the Halo controller for original xbox sold separately? There's something to be said about a product that cannot be replaced, and that is "Collector's Item". That's the same reason they're putting download codes in the box - Make it harder to not open it. Make it coveted. Make Halo more and more... Legendary.

Like it or not, see it or not, video games are almost, and may vary well become this generation's favorite pasttime AND choice form of entertainment. Catching up to Hollywood in revenue? TV ratings for EVERY major sport declining steadily? Coincidence, or consumer evolution?
