i actually might pick this up. Would definetly be useful for typing messages and an extra mic could come in handy since they seem to break as often as 360s.

Knowing how much af an 360 "fanboy" I am...I will be buying it.:p

Seriously, I will be purchasing one. I believe the PS3 has one out already for their controller.

dude 30 dollars wow i expected that it would cost so much more but i guess i was wrong because i thought nearly 60 dollars and it would be very cool if they come out with that keyboard,a mic, and the vision camera (mine broke) for like 60 bucks cheers till september:drunk

Super sweet! I've been waiting for this to be released since they first made the prototype and announced it. Hopefully it won't impair using the controller during a game.

Hmmm. I found some old ass USB keyboard that has been working just fine for me since launch. I was just sitting here thinking about whether or not I wrap my thumbs around the controller or not and I have no idea...and I'm too lazy to go to the living room and see...

I'm excited. I hate typing messages out right now and never have wanted to bother with a wired keyboard plugged into the 360. I've been wanting this since the announcement of it.

I usually have the xbox site up on my PC anyway so I tend to use that. The controller is hardly ideal and could def be described as painstakingly slow!

I will get this also, It will be very useful as long as it is pretty sturdy and doesn't crap out like all of Microsofts other products ( Ive gone through 3 microsoft headsets so far so a new one would be nice).

I want one of these but I cry foul on the price...no way this is $30.00. Even the wired controller costs more than that!

I would not be surprised if it was $60-70.

So whens the UK release and how much will it cost over here in £ i bet it ends up costing us more and comes out later, still gonna get one as it just saves time and aint gonna break the bank...

i was under the impression that the "messenger kit" was a separate piece that could be attached to any controller but this looks like it's permanently attached to that one controller. god i hope thats not the case, already have 4 controllers and really don't need another just for typing ;)

The only reason I'd get this is to use it for FFXI. But the lack of CTRL & ALT buttons makes it worthless for FFXI.

Yeah I just had to buy a new set last night. At first I couldnt find just an individual head set, but eventually found them and ouch $. The key pad seems like a good idea, but it wont be a top priority with all these good games coming out.
