xbox 360 elite UK release date?

:confused:does any one know the UK release date for the xbox 360 elite becasue so far i have only heard late summer/early autumn and it is really starting to piss me off!!!:uzi:

Nothing has been officially announced (that i know of) i'd definately expect it later in the year though ;)

According to a mag i read this month, there is a delay due to some licensing or summat (I can't remember the exact details)
Until that issue is resolved it will be a US product only. From other reviews etc it seems just as loud and some report it as noisier than the UK spec one. How true this is I can't confirm as I haven't seen one, jsut don't shoot the messenger!

I'm sure I read some where that in America you could trade in you're original 360 to get cash off the Elite, did this ever happen and if so anyone know if it happening in the UK?
