spy bots???

I can't find any spy bots!!! Never seen one??!, Is here any kind of glitch, I reached Military Base with only one, and I started to find it very odd as I have 20 coins allready and just that spy bot num.1 that comes free with the story. Went to replay Skrull, Act 2, and I'm trying really hard to find the one that's stated in the guide "In the second room where you need one person on each pressure plate", I think it's the room before going outside, and nothing. Help!
What does it look like ? Is there any glitch ?

nevermind, the problem was with the location the one I was trying to find, it's not really there where the guide says but way ahead.

i almost beat the game on fantastic mode and didn't find spy bots

I feel you, but you must have 1 at least, 'cos it's part of a cut-scene. I got so messed up with this, that now I wanted to start from scratch, but the it saves the secrets somewhere I just can't erase it. Use the guide, but don't take it literally, as IMO it isn't very accurate, and might be misleading, however, it seems to be "near". What's really stupid is that sometimes you catch a bot but you don't know you did, as it doesn't say anything, but "saving", allthough it can be a coin or a bot. Stupid, IMO. I started over but it didn't help, as it didn't erase the ones I found. I'm trying not to advance in the story until I find the 1 bot and two coins I'm missing, before the Mines, at least trusting the "guide".
