Question About Auto-Log On

When i had my old 360, it would automatically log on to Xbox live whenever i turned it on. I got the three red lights and changed it out for a new one (warranty) and now i manually have to go in and log in to live every time. Its kind of annoying, is there something i missed that makes it log in automatically or am i just going to have to do it myself every time?

some boxes are slower than others... sometimes mine logs in right away and sometimes it takes a while—and i may just do it manually.

mine just wont do it at all. ive watched whole movies without it logging on and usually my other one would log on within 3 minutes of being turned on.

hmmm... then maybe you do have something disabled on it. if its a refurbished one you got back after one broke, the original owners could've change the settings from default. i would look around the dashboard and see if there is an option you can find to turn on.

agree with shaady the login settings can be changed to allow auto & manual login give the settings a red through and see how u get on. :)

Turn on your xbox and boot it up. Return to your dashboard if it manually boots up to game, sign in manually and then click on your gamercard in the dashboard. There should be an option for Auto Sign-In at the bottom of the guide that appears.
