View Full Version : Glitched Achievements for the benefit?

I was just wondering if anyone else experienced a few cheevo glitches on this game like I did? For example..

Chronicler - I did a fair amount of exploring on my only run through on insane making sure to find all nanergy and these.. I was about 80% completed with 32 or 33 audio logs(I was paying close attention to the counter) when the cheevo popped directly after the cut scene where Mason listens to the audio log that SAM reconstructs with the cpu upgrade. Although odd, I'm not shocked that this somehow counts as an audiolog.. but theres no way it counts for 7 or 8 of them and I did find quite a few more before finishing the game(and I do realize there are supposed to be more than 40 total).

Hold Still - It popped when only 5 of my shockwaved enemies died and I had to malee the body of the 6th

Lock and Load - Unless this game's time function is fast, this popped the first time I ever used berserk and it was only activated for 10 seconds MAX

Back at Ya - It would have eventually unlocked legitimately, but I went for this immediately when I got my last upgrade and the first enemy to pop the cheevo didn't actually hit himself to finish himself off.. he walked into my shell to take it's last health away


I think there was something else that caught my attention.. but anyways, I am very NOT complaining. All of these popped short or well short of what I was supposed to actually accomplish, being probably the first time I have ever really benefited greatly from glitched cheevo's. I was just curious if anyone else experienced any issues.. hopefully beneficial like mine.

I think it also counts story related logs also, because there are like 8 logs for story or something, because I also got about 32 or 33 and it popped.
