mother statue

ok i just killed the big flaming giant gard and i try to pick up the statue but it keeps telling me i need more!!! i can command 35 minnions. does anybody know hoh many minnions i need. please help this is driving me crazy!!

you don't pick the Mother Goddess statue up. You need to walk towards it and Gnarl will tell you to sweep some brown minions towards the statue. After that you'll put some brown minions in the statue and then an Overseer will take the statue and disappear. You do not get the statue right now... you'll get it sometime later once you find out where the "thief" went with the Mother Goddess statue.

I believe that you have to kill that monster by breaking open the pens with the rolling armadillo things in them. There are four of them and they will crash into the rock giant, killing it for you.
