Was wondering if anyone has confirmed cheats don't disable achievements?

I'm guessing no since one of the achievements is to buy one! I don't think they can tease and not give you the opportunity.

Pretty sure you can buy them without actually using them

No they don't, I saw someone say that you can just use them while playing Insane. So I would ASSUME that they won't

So do you buy the cheats from the upgrade station when you start a new game plus?

No just hit start and there they are.

After completing the game once, you can buy Cheats. I did the wifrst playthrough on Casual and now going for Insane in New Game Plus. I bought the unlimited ammo for Mr. Toots on my Insane playthrough and it's very helpful ;)

Atleast the game didn't say that activating the cheats disables achievements, and since you need to BUY the cheats using salvage, it would be logical to not block achievements.

You can buy them from the start menu, or from an upgrade station. You need to press the Y button in an upgrade station to buy cheats.

I can 100% guarantee that Cheats DO NOT disable Achievements (as also mentioned in the Roadmap & Guide). I had the Instant Nano Forge Cooldown and Super Melee (under CHEATS >> OTHER) turned on on my Insane playthrough and Back At Ya! 20:gsicon: popped.

Jappe66 does make a great point. If, indeed, the Cheats disabled the Achievements, a noticed would've popped on screen when turning them on.

Do chats only work in campaign?

You guys are quite welcome. I was willing to take one for the 360 Gamers when trying this. But before I did, I made a back-up save. :p

@#9 Yes the single player ones don't apply to infest and there's no option within it.
