Whats everyones thoughts from the E3 coverage of Fable : The Journey?

With the few bugs in fable 3 I'd rather they sort that out first :/ Just seen the clip looks like the nightmare is back.

From the trailer and gameplay that they showed us at E3 it doesn't look like a game I would play, mainly because it's on rails. I don't like to play games that limit me to a fixed area. Forget the fact that it's on Kinect only, but just because it's very limiting is reason enough why I wouldn't get it.

I think i would get it, the thought of using magic especially when the guy used the magic to form an ice javelin, fills me with excitement :D

Meh no opinion. Not a Fable fan played the first one and wasn't blown away so whatever I wish them well.

If it is solely a Kinect game, I will not purchase. I have been moderately entertained by the Fable series...but that is it.

If it's not on rails, I might get more interested.
Still, LH killed Fable's rep with Fable 3, and instead of fixing a broken product, they make a new one, hoping we will experience it as great and forgive them for creating the thing we call Fable 3

But it'll need some damn good gameplay vid's before I get interested.

My main concern for it is the same as what TombRaiser said about it being on the rails. I am wondering how you're going to be able to move around in the world with limited hassle.

I am excited to see what items you can make out the magic, like they had shown in the E3 demo.

With regards to Fable 3, I reckon they had taken away the main aspect of the game and ruined it as a RPG game. Yes, personally I found some of the aspects in Fable 2 annoying and useless but surely they should of been correcting these instead of pulling them out completly.

I'm not even going to give this Fable game a look unless Molyneaux comes through on everything that he promises this time.

It looks ok but without the free roam element to the game it wouldn't be a true fable game

I decided not to get anything related to Fable

This game has to be an XBLA title. No way you can sell a game with that little gameplay for full price.

If you can get out of the wagon I might give it a try.

Really liked the trailer with the graphics but the on-rails part doesn't look fun

Fable: The Journey is NOT going to be on rails, that was a misconception that was created when an assumption was made after the previewing press conference.
The game creator took out the navigation for the press conference because they were still in the developmental phase at that point, (and because they were really showcasing the kinect hand gesture controls, not the movement system) and they didn't want to experience any anomalies.
He made it clear in a later interview with IGN that the game WILL NOT be on rails, it will be a sandbox system.
