I've been on and off the fence on whether I'm gonna buy this game. I haven't played the demo but I hear it's been great. I played the original N64 one and thought it was great as well, if this one is anything like it I'd say it's a buy but I'm still undecided. What are your thoughts? Worth it?

If you like the original duke, then buy it. Its effectively a graphics update with a few scripted set pieces thrown in to satisfy the CoD noobs. The vehicle levels seem fun as well.

From what I have played in the demo I have to say that someone who has no interest in Duke Nukem as a character will not really enjoy the game as much as someone who does. Someone who has never played DN3D might still love it but the main draw is old school gaming and the character himself. The graphics are not that great in the second level of the demo, but they are fine in the first level. Honestly I don't care about graphics. Crying about a few crappy textures just shows how spoiled some gamers have become (There are some literal crappy textures caused by throwing crap). Gaming started out with a few pixles like pong and shit like that, and if people thought that it was garbage because it didnt reflect real life then gaming would not have come vary far. Good graphics are great but Duke's one liners and old school action are far more important to old school shooter fans. Im keeping my pre order for next week and I cant wait.

Let's think about this for a second... YES.
This game, along with RAGE, Skyrim, and Serious Sam 3: BFE, are going to be the best games of this year.
What do all of these games have in common? Largely SP based. :drunk

Oh dont worry, I know the graphics aren't ideal but I could care less. It's not what this game is about

there is nothing wrong with the graphics why is most people saying that and yes the game will be good, would you rather they brought it out early and unfinished graphics in the first place. Then people would have reason to moan
Just to save your money, why not rent first?
If you like/love it, then by all means purchase.
