Please teach me to shoot ...

I just finished playing FIFA 06 -- where a double-tap B was pretty much an easy score on a 1-on-1 vs. goalie.

What should I do in these circumstances for this 07 game? Double-B is such a light tap that it's easily blocked, and if I hold down B for just a bit longer, the ball goes sailing over the top of the net... :(

Well to answer my own question ...

... all of those wind up shots are *rubbish*. Shooting is all about hitting the angles. Follow the advice of a few soccer pros in this thread about where to be and where, and follow the old adage of how you get to Broadway -- "practice practice practice!"

I started out wondering how I would ever get an average of 4 goals a game, and by the time I was done with 40 or so games was getting about 8 in 4 minute halves.

or just tap shoot if your close to goal
