I saw this brought up on another message board and figured it was worth bringing up.

Each one of the heroes represents one of the Biblical deadly sins:

Melvin - Gluttony
Oberon - Sloth
Goldo - Greed
William - Lust
Jewel - Envy
Kahn - Wrath
The Wizard - Pride

Just thought it was worth pointing out for anyone who didn't pick up on it. Pretty cool that the developers put that kind of thought into it. :)

The most annoying part about that whole concept is that during your final battle with the Wizard all of the sins of each of the "heroes" are constantly pointed out until you beat him... It would've been fine if he said it once but having it on an endless loop made me want to kill him even sooner.

It is worse when it loops between only three of them, 'I think she likes you Sir William, have another roast pig Melvin, I think she likes you Sir William, have a rest Oberon" repeat for two minutes.

It is an interesting idea, but American McGee made a game with a similar concept only it was sevens dwarves representing each of the sins. Since a sequel is inevitable the story would have to take a whole new direction though since it can't really carry on from the current one.

Sins are always fun though =)

I got soooooooooooo freaking tired of hearing that damned roasted pig thing for Melvin. That one honestly had to have replayed every time another one was said it was insane!! Also, I'm sure if they do make a sequel then it would have to revolve around some new area or "world." Or maybe you would actually be able to pillage and plunder til your hearts content. As for reviving the seven deadly sins... they could make new minions and have each minion have such problems... lol but then again I'm just reaching for something now. Plus having 7 different types of Minions to control would be annoying but possible since we had 12 spells to use.

I got tired of him and I just turned off the voices and subtitles in the options. Killing him was so satisfying :chair
