Cant kill water dragon in understreets

Ok i'm in the understreets that you access thru the swamps in heavens peak. And i'm at the point where i'm on a platform with a door to my left. There is a wheel out on a platform in the water that needs 12 minions to use it to open the door. Problem is there is one of those water serpents that eats my minions every time I get them near the wheel.

I'm curious if anyone knows how i'm supposed to beat this thing. I remember beating one earlier in the game, but I had to use green or brown minions to hack at the back of his head when he bent down. The problem here is that it seems the only minions I can get near this thing are the blue ones, and they cant fight worth a crap.

I hope this wasnt to vauge, but i'm describing it best I can. If anyone has been in this spot and beat this serpent, your help would be much appreciated, or if anyone in general knows how I can beat this thing, please help

hi

first get as many green minions as you can go to the serpent. keep back then walk toward the serpent with your minoins. when the serpent lower his head near the ground tell your mionons to attack it while attacking it might shake his head so bring back your minions and keep doing thats how i did it hope this helps you. i hope you do it cause i know how it feels.

I use the way to minimise losses but that takes time and patience.

Take all Browns/Greens, select all minions so they all attack together. Stand slightly further back from where he drops his head and then send a single minion to lure it down. As soon as you press the right trigger and see the monster move hold down B. He will drop down and then you send all of your minions in and go in swinging yourself.

When it moves back, wait for your minions to do some damage and then hold B before it shakes it's head. This will save your minions from drowning, not a very nice thing even if it happens in a funny way. It shouldn't take more than two attempts.

I just sent about 20 Blue Minions over to the wheel the serpent's protecting. It'll kill a couple of them, but you should be able to get the wheel turned all the way your first try.

Once the door opened, I just put my minions on hold then ran down there and killed the serpent with my sword. Took like 2 minutes maybe. :)

I did it precisely the same way that bluntman did it. just make sure that your minions don't follow you when you go in the water after the serpent... for some reason two of mine followed me in the water and drowned... made no sense at all but whatever lol. Also remember to be patient because it can feel at times like you're not making any progress at all.

I made sure not to put any minions in harms way, and just went to town on it myself. Ofcourse, i had a maxed out sword and armor, so it wasnt all that hard to kill him, just takes a little while. Like some others here said, you could also just send a horde at him, and after some time it will go down.

I found that the best way is to lock onto the wheel and send your minions to it, that is the part that got me stuck, I was trying to move them with the thumbstick and for some reason i coudnt get 12 on the wheel. Locking onto it makes it a hell of a lot easier.

Oo..using 30 blue minions I simply swept them towards the snake, then back..guerrilla warfare type deal.. then when the snake lunged I simply swept all my minions on to its head. Took about 10-15 sweeps and he was dead >_>..didn't lose a single minion.

its really easy just send as many blue minions as you can..

finish turning the wheel allll the way then go show that dragon who is OVERLORD!
