Anyone hit an enemy over long ranges with it?

It's really odd, the bullets seem to disappear over certain ranges, I've tried several times on mission 6 to hit the enemy in the far distance with it but nothing, I've aimed up and down the scale, put an entire ammo holding down range but nothing it. The enemy react to the bullets but you do not see anything hit ground.

yes, and it's a LOT easier when you max out the sniper class and get the muzzle velocity unlock ;)

You really think I'd make a topic about it without having already maxed the sniper and using it? doesn't make a difference to the tiny enemy in the distance, they just don't go down.

sorry, I just assumed you hadn't, I used the youtube vid in the achievement guide and got it straight away after unlocking muzzle velocity, with that there's no need to aim up the scale, it makes very long range shots straight....

The chev I got with a 600m shot with the QBZ on lvl9.

I was replaying the lvl 6 as it's one of my favs and was trying to hit the enemy in the very far distance with the 107, it just doesn't hit them, M39 or M16 with sniper scope/thermal no problem, but with 107 it just doesn't seem to hit anything at that long range.

I used the M107 to get the bullet drop achieve w/o the muzzle velocity perk. I think there's a perk to improve your aim, and it's always best to use prone where you can. Can't say I has any kind of issues using the weapon.

I did the 1000 meter shot with this on the night mission after 5 or so shots. I even tried it with the M39, and I even got a kill at that distance with my M4 with night scope + AP rounds.

I loved the M107 in the early stages of the game, but once I got AP rounds as rifleman and killed with 1 shot anyway, this rifle became redundant.
