Hey, I just rented Gun today.
Right now I'm just having fun going through the main mission but I'm seeing lots of things like "x missions unlocked" when I beat bosses or certain parts or whatever. I also saw a side-quest in front of someone I had to talk to for the main quest. Should I be doing all of these first time around? I was thinking of just playing through the main story line and then level select glitching (or whatever, I didn't really read through it) back to do any side stuff I need to. Do I need any rewards from these? Money stats or otherwise? And am I able to re-collect everything after? I'm not really familier with this game yet, as I said I just rented it.
Dunno if any of this would sound stupid to someone who played through the game, but I tried to look and didn't really get the answers I need.
Thanks in advance.

I believe this should go in achievement discussion. You can still go back after beating the game and finishing up your missions. ;)

Wow thanks for the speedy response. Sorry if this is the wrong section, as you can see I haven't posted a lot ><
Thanks, I'll just work on beating the game first then :D

It goes in achievements discussion simply because you get an achievement when you finish all of a certain side mission. Glad to be of assistance.

It may be in wrong section, but it's rude not to awnser his question.

Personally, I did everything, and it lead to every achievement.

There are, Hunting, Card games, Bounty, Horse Missions, Pony Express and Keep the peace.

I would do all of them because, you get money and skill. And without it will be hard beating bosses, and the final boss. So I would do them, But it is your choice.

I did answer his question while at the same time informing him he would get a better response if the thread were elsewhere. ^_^

I was thinking the same thing, but then again I just bought the game used for 20 bucks. I guess I'll take care of everything during my first go through on easy.

It is important to do the side quests as they bump your skills, you will want high skills when you go after the final part of the story.
