Bleed it Out: bass challenge (36k in SP)???

how the fuck are you supposed to get 36k in one star power explosion?!?!?!
they're all 8th notes, so it's not like there's a part of the song that has more notes than any other part.
I nail everything perfectly on expert, and fire the SP so that I get more SP during it, and it still doesn't come close.

Can someone tell me what the trick to this is, please???

Here's a useful Video that I found on YouTube to refer to, even though he doesn't seem to score the 36,600 he needed to pass the Challenge.

Just For Reference:

Earn the first 2 Star Power Phrases and activate Star Power when the Bass comes back in with the Yellow Notes exactly as this Video shows. (Activate Star Power for the first time at approximately 1:07)

You will need to use the final 3 Star Power Phrases together to beat the Challenge.

Therefore, you will need to activate Star Power for the second time at around 2:20 into the Song and you will incorporate the final Star Power Phrase into you Bass score and beat the 36,600 while in Star Power Challenge.

(Note) In this Video, Star Power is activated too early and he misses out on passing the Challenge because of this.

I just got the 36k.
It's not that hard but takes a bit of timing
Play on Expert. Gather the first three SP phrases and use star power immediately after the third
When your star power ends, a new phrase should start. Keep playing until you've collected two more phrases (after the phrase that starts when your first SP ends)
Now comes te timing: activating the second SP. There's a moment in the middle of the song where you don't get to play anything for a while and the vocalist sings ''I bleed it out diggin' deeper just to throw it away'' a few times
When the notes reappear, make sure you keep your 4x multiplier

After the second set of bass notes, activate your star power. If timed correctly, you'll complete a new phrase of SP right before your activated SP ends. The refill should grant you enough extra time to gain that extra points. Of course you MUST maintain 8x multiplier during the SP, otherwise it'll never work

Yeah I FC'd this song 4-5 times before I got it. Kept activating too early and missing out on the last phrase.
