I've beaten the game already, so I think that I should have seen all the creatures and they should be in the dungeon. I beat all the creatures in the dungeon and got the halfway achievement but I never got the 100 creatures defeated one... is there something that I'm missing here, or what. Did anyone else get this achievement??

Did you complete the game with no or full corruption? If it was no corruption, then I'm guessing there are a couple of things you didn't battle with, like peasents and elf workers, that kind of stuff.

I had the same problem because I was going for the 0% Corruption achievement and I never fought the stupid Elf Watchers (Ghost Elves). And so after beating the game and getting my 0% Corruption achievement I went to Evernight with a full horde of blues and attacked the Ghost Elves that were just floating along in front of the bath to Oberon. Then I went back to my dungeon and beat them and got the achievement.

Also, to help out more you may want to list out what creatures you've fought in the dungeon so we can tell you what ones you missed or look for the thread that has all of the creatures listed.

I have it, there aren't 100 creatures to fight.

If you want ghost elves without messing up corruption then send a blue to fight one but don't kill it. It should show up anyway.

If not then start a new game, you'll need to start again anyway if you want the full 1000.

I think a list of all the fights in the dungeon would be a great idea to help with the achievement guide.

I posted a list of all the dungeon creatures and will be working on strategies soon. I think it is in the achievement guide thread.

you actually can kill them and I think you have to but I could be wrong. It's something like you can kill 5 before you get any corruption? I'm not entirely sure but there's no harm in killing it.

does anyone know a good tactic to defeat the flamer dwarfs? furthermore, some numbers does not seem to be correct. you have to defeat 10 big slugs and then 5 little slugs:confused:

Take in a full set of greens, send one to the left-most dwarf then when the others attack that one send two in to the right-most.

It may take some time but you will be able to kill the majority if not all of them.

The fastest and easiest way to defeat the flamer dwarves (that I've found) is to take a Max amount of Red Minions and set them all up in the middle of all the dwarves. That should get all of their attention and allow you to walk over to the dwarves and attack them from behind. The Reds will just constantly keep them distracted by throwing fireballs at them. Also, if you do end up getting targeted you can always just turn around and run and the reds will be targeted again as soon as you leave.

I didn't notice you asking about numbers, so here goes.

I think they deliberately messed around with the numbers to give you a challenge. If you only fought one of the harder creatures then it would be stupidly difficult for everyone to get. It also makes you think up new strategies for beating them.

If you are finding the slugs hard to beat then fully upgrade a full set of Arcanium, take in a full hoarde that you don't mind killing off and just take your time. Regeneration is vital on your armour or you won't last very long.

My very first post...

Hit and run tactics work pretty well with bigger enemies, otherwise bring maximum Greens as backup, put them in a squad (Or whatever we call the ''Y'' button assign) and leave them near the starting location. If it gets out of hand, go near them and they'll pull the heat for you. You might lose a lot of them if the enemies decide to splash damage to get rid of them so it's always good to know when to call them back.

That was my tactic before I had Arcanium all over my character, now I just solo all of them. Good luck!

that is truly the only practical tactic until you get Arcanium... always gotta draw one of the enemies to you and jump them with all of your Greens... it makes fighting the Beetles take FOREVER!!! But once that Arcanium comes along and you have it fully imbued... 10,000 comes oh so easily haha.

Amen to that, got the achievement last night. I found out that you can kill Puff Beetles in a single blow with a maxed out mace, it's pretty efficient and satisfying. I was afraid it wouldn't work because I finished the game and thought that achievements were no longer available from there. Luckily I was wrong. :woop:
