Can anyone confirm what is required to gain an ultimately imbued set of armour for the three corresponding achievements?
I have a steel set (Axe, Armour & Helmet that you start out with) that I've upgraded as much as I can but I didn't max out any of the stats, just spread them evenly.
To crack the achievement do you have to boost only one stat, or has something gone fubar in my game?

I believe you have to max out the stats of 1 piece of weaponry, armor and helmet.

When you are forging or upgrading your armor you need to place the max amount of minions you can fit into that armor. An example if the helmet says you have 0/500 you need to make that 500/500 so you can't fit any more minions inside of it. As far as armor most people either max it out with brown minions or blue which gives you the health regeneration, not sure if its blue but its one of them. But you need the weapon, armor, and helmet to be maxed out of that armor type.

Green is regeneration, and yeah, you need to fit the maxiumum amount of minions in 1 weapon and armour and helmet. If you find you didn't unlock the achievment, someone put 1 minion into another weapon, and then they got it apparently.

yeah i've already maxed out the steel set, going to finish arcanium next.
The thing is, I didn't assemble the piece with the max minions in it, i upgraded it later.
I don't know if this is why it counted against me. Or it may have been that I did it with the set you get given at the beginning, so I didn't actually forge it at all. I'll try with Arcanium, if that doesnt work either I'll forge a set of steel that's full of minions AS I CREATE IT, and see if that works.
It counts as ultimately imbued as long as you max out the number of minions you put into an item. It DOES NOT need to be done whilst forging the item, but it will still count if you do. YOU CAN upgrade it after forging and get the achievement.

Oddly enough it hasn't given me credit for my Steel or Durium set.... I maxed out every weapon in steel, the armor, and the helmet. No achievement. Durium Sword, Armor and Helm... really starting to piss me off.

It won't give me the steel set achievement either, I've got a set of full imbued steel weapons armor and helmet, it gave me the other 2 achievements but not that one... dunno why??
EDIT: I found out the problem for steel achievement.. you actually have to make all 3 pieces of armor yourself and add in the minons, you can't use the set you start with... at least I couldn't

It worked fine for me when I used the steel set I started with, although I imbued my mace, not my axe.

I had problems with getting my Ultimate Arcanium set achievement but not the steel or the durium. I used the ones that were given to me for the steel (except I forged a sword and upgraded it). In order for me to get the Arcanium achievement I had to exit the game without saving and reload it and re-upgrade and then it gave it to me after the second time I upgraded it. I still dunno why thats happening but Triumph/Codemasters needs to give the game an update already to fix the achievement bugs...
