Hug and professor portal

i thought these achievements were glitched at first (i hugged 6+ players and played with 3 new gold accounts) and the achievement never popped but when i went to friends (while in a game with a kid i just added for hug cheevo) i noticed it said he was "play portal co op with stranger" so i thought to myself "why did the achievement not pop" well i left then reinvited him and it finally unlocked so u need to add them to friends list then reinvite them for it to count as a friend. same goes for proffesor portal is what i did for this cheevo was :
1.find random player
2.compare games with them
3.if no co op cheevos go to dash board
4. re invite them and finally profesor portal unlocked
3:21 in morning i got 1k for portal 2 =)

Im using my 2 alt account with my main and me and my friend are swapping, both of us have had all my accounts on each's friends list for a while and the achievement has not unlocked. so my guess is it is a little glitched.
