Just saw it yesterday, really enojoyed it, never seen so many police cars destroyed in a movie before lol. Was disappointed to see there wasn't a single street race in the whole film though especially as its the longest fast and furious so far.
I've come to find out their gonna be releasing one last f&f movie in another 2 years, thats where it all finishes!
I know the US haven't seen it yet so this goes to everyone in Europe and the UK :P
What did you think of the movie?

i saw it today aswell and i was really impressed withit, best one so far. Only realiased about half way through that the film must be set before Tokyo Drift as Han is in it.
That will be good if there is another one, really love this series of films.

I wouldn't say the best, but definitely second best. Nothing has beat 2 Fast 2 Furious yet for me.
There wasn't one part of the movie where I got bored, and I thought The Rock was gonna ruin it as well, but he was awesome.
Great film, i'd reccomend it all day :D

I saw it. I thought it was awesome!! They did show one street race... when they were in the cop cars :P But yeah, this was an excellent movie. Its now in my top 3 car movies with 'gone in 60 seconds' and 'the blues brothers' (which is an excellent movie if you wanna see meaningless destruction of 100's of cop cars)

Seriously? Tokyo Drift second best. has a few good scenes but the main actor is just annoying.

I've been a fan of the series from the get-go. I really enjoyed the car sub culture that played out in the first film, but people have to remember that the first film was just as much as a heist film as Fast Five.
I hold 2 Fast 2 Furious as being a "side-quest" of sorts compared to the overall timeline of the film. For me it goes from The Fast and the Furious to Fast and Furious. We all know what position Tokyo Drift plays into the series.
If it can be said that the first film is the best "car" movie of the series then it can be said that Fast Five is the best action film of the series. Seriously, this franchise has gone from basic car movie to over-the-top action thrill-ride and I honestly loved every second of it.
It was a welcome to see all those faces back into the series and Dwayne Johnson was more of a welcome then I had originally thought.
All I can say to those who intend to see it soon, is to wait through the credits. Theres a nice surprise waiting for you that had my jaw on the floor.

I've been a personal fan of the Fast & Furious series ever since the very first title was released. Fast Five is everything we all love about the franchise, fast cars, beautiful women, and of course some nail biting action scenes. Best movie I have seen in a long time, it even managed to remove the bad taste that was left in my mouth by Tokyo Drift.
Be sure to stay after the credits!!

I haven't seen any of them but I went with a friend to see Fast Five and loved it. My least favorite part was probably the Rock's acting but it's easily ignored.

You really don't have to apologize. I will once again emphasize the fact that if people walk into a thread like this they are walking into the bullet so to speak. Your spoiler tag was easily identified and if I really didn't want to read what you wrote, I wouldn't have as it actually took a bit of peering out before I saw what it said. So, it's their fault. Screw em if they can't handle it.
And yes, the credits scene made my day.

HUGE SPOILER.
Why though? Letty's death was the WHOLE reason for the fourth film, and with it all being a hoax, it just makes the fourth film feel tacky... Hell, bringing her 'back to life' is just another reason for another film.
If I'm honest, the after credit scene just felt like they were shoe horning in more previous characters - the lovely Eva Mendes - and trying to open up and otherwise closed story for another film... Pissed me the fuck off, and ruined an otherwise fantastic action/car film.

So how is white font "easily identified" as a spoiler tag... When he couldve easily just used a spoiler tag? Also you could tell it was kinda rushed by him saying Michelle instead of Letty!

I saw it Friday night and its actually a good movie. The series has gotten better with age and the scene after the credits sets it up for what should be the last move in the series. I know people are hating on Toyko Drift, but I enjoy watching it every now and then. Considering the way TD ended, it would be nice to see the next film pick up after TD but we'll see what happens.

Really Impressed, Its good to see Vin Diesel and "The Rock" get back to action movies, rather than pansy movies.

This movie was corny, lame, had terrible acting, yet I loved it. I came it hoping for terrible/awesome one liners and Fast Five defiantly delivered. The Hakosuka styled GT-R was the best car in the film.

Perhaps you should learn how to use these spoiler tags. This is what they're here for.You really don't have to apologize. I will once again emphasize the fact that if people walk into a thread like this they are walking into the bullet so to speak.
Unless the thread title has "spoilers" in it, it's fair to assume you can come in here and not have the movie spoiled for you. And TC clearly asked for everyone's opinion of the film, not what happened.

I think too much money on actors was spent on the 5th one, however that doesnt' mean that I did not like it. Bringing the entire crew into one movie was really good to see. I still have trouble seeing Han though considering he died in Tokyo Drift. I hate it when movie directors bounce all over the damn place in the story.

Yea kind of annoyed me, thought this was going to be the last one, BUUUT NOOOOOO right at the end they had to leave it open for a squeal, but meh, Michelle Rodriguez is awesome anyway would love for her to get back into the res evil movies.

I wonder what angle they are going to use in the next one. My guess is that letty's character will have faked her death and is now working for the CIA or something. OR maybe she went "Mad Max". Either way... can not wait to see the look on dom's face when he knows that she lives. Fingers crossed for a good one.

I see your point on this, but at the same time it's a 2 way street. As much as it is a pian in the ass to read spoilers on a movie you didnt see yet, I feel it is common knowledge that people will talk about all aspects of the movie regardless if people didnt see it.

I agree. The first is the best so far and I find it one of the few movies I can watch over and over with out it getting boring.

I must say I liked it almost as much as the first one. I'm happy to see everyone was back for this movie and great to see they maybe continuing the series.
And for those of you who stayed for after the credits.....I thought she was dead....LOL
