ok i been a Dynasty fan since the ps2 i have never played the 360 versions but now looking at DW7, I've got this itch im afraid to make this a purchase do to the last few dws reviews, So what is the verdict from all you dw fans?

This game is great for Dynasty Warriors fans. I hated 6, but this one is awesome.

Yea, also, getting the full 1k will take some good time too so you'll be at it for a while. My only problem is that the scholar asks some pretty hard ass questions.

Well, your first mistake was listening to reviews. Don't you have your own opinion on things? Reviews are biased based on the person who reviews it. Of course, I can understand that asking a DW forums and DW players for their opinions can be biased too, but you said you have been a DW fan since on PS2. Since you've been a fan of the series for that long, you should automatically owe it to yourself to check this game out. The general gaming community will almost always hate KOEI's Warriors series because they're not into the series and will just play it off as a "it's the same thing every time". That just shows how ignorant and uninformed they are. Each new DW game provides enough changes and new content to justify a new title and price tag.

As for this game, I say yes you should buy it if you liked the PS2 DW games, and since you haven't played DW6, you'll feel right at home with this game since DW6 tried a different approach to the fighting system which utterly failed. DW7 brings the series back to it's roots and is a sure fan pleaser since it fixes many things from the last game which ruined the series.

Such a brilliant game

This is definitely a purchase kind of game. Renting it would kinda suck. Compared to the older games if you buy any of them make sure you pick this one it. It's well worth it.
