What's Supersoldier like?

How hard is the difficulty? and are there any parts that are just impossible to do in the game or is all just finely paced?

I found it to be really simple by just stealthing as much as possible. I still killed most of the enemies in the game, just with a silencer or stealth kill. Invest nano catalysts into armor/stealth/mobility enhance to make it almost a joke. Although I went up to the last two levels without them and really only had trouble with pingers (giant robots, use rockets/c4 on its back) and devastators? (big armored ceph, use a turret or rockets/c4)

Really easy, have the Stealth Enhance and your all set. Dont fight anybody unless you really have to, like Pingers. Then in battle use your stealh to run away or armor when back is against the wall. Overall really easy.

Game was hella easy, only time I died was when the game glitched on me and guns would randomly disappear from my hands and inventory, on the pinger boss fight inside the terminal I had my Jaw randomly disappear from my hands like 3 times with full ammo in it while sprinting...but the achieve glitched so didn't matter that I did it on ss anyways...bastards.

Achievements weren't glitched for me, but then again, I may have just gotten lucky. The only really hard parts were fighting the Pingers...but that was easily solved with C4 and Rocket Launchers. Stealth made it easy as can be.

Like I said in another thread, supersoldier is almost a joke because of cloaking and the fact that you hardly are required to kill anyone to advance through checkpoints. If you want it to be difficult simply don't use cloak... or like me, don't use visor, cloak or armor.

It's very easy. I completed SS barely firing a shot. The achievements are not glitched.

They are glitched but obviously not for everyone. Just b/c they didn't glitch for you doesn't mean the game isn't messing up for others.

as stated you can stealth past most engagements (upgraded stealth enhance makes it even easier) im on the 5th mission and only had trouble with the *destroy helicopter in the lab* but i just changed the deflection enhancement and it became very easy.

As noted by everyone, cloaking allows you to skip a lot of the would-be hard engagements. When you do have to fight, look for a mounted MG, as they kill Ceph in a few shots. The hardest fights in the game were the pingers, because they killed all my teammates and would disable my cloak and find me. That and they take 5-6 rockets to kill.

Just in case it is glitched though, ill hold out on this difficulty for awhile till I know for sure theres a fix coming or something..

The parts where I don't cloak on veteran are challenging but I use cloak A LOT.

I beat the game on easy 2 days ago in around 6-8 hrs.

I clicked New Game and chose Super Soldier and i did it in just under 3hrs and thankfully the cheevo popped as normal.

Jesus fucking Christ, 3 hours??!? Just ran through with cloak on? My FPS skills are pretty rusty; I'm struggling on easy in some parts so could I do it?

It seems there is no difference between armour powers on Easy, veteran or super soldier.

The game is as difficult as CoD: WaW and COD:BLOPS but you have the luxury of extra armour and being able to cloak.

On the level where I had to get to the wall street area near the church, I cloaked all of it and got by everyone without a single bullet fired. Only person I killed was 1 or 2 cell soldiers for the stealth achievement.

So I could do it by advancing from cover to cover while cloaked and recharge my energy when no one can see me... Hopefully I can run it in three hours too
