What was the worse part of the game?

For all of you out there that found one particular part hard, on which ever difficulty you were playing, please feel free to share it with everyone. Personally, fighting Duffy on Insaine mode was the worst part for me, because his cannon balls could damage you through walls lol

Probably Magruder on Insane. It's because after I completed Gun on all difficulties, my friend who hasn't made it Magruder yet wanted to see the final boss fight. I used the glitch to skip to the last level. However, the glitch didn't carry over my stats, upgrades, or weapons. So basically I beat the game on Insane by only using the first pistol/rifle. xD

definitely has to be getting through the magruder mines on hard difficulty -up.

magruder isn't really that difficult. Hollister is tough if you havent upped your skills any.

I agree that Magruder wasn't that bad on Hard, it was the mines that pissed me off. The AI was terrible as my guys kept pushing me into the open when I was sniping the guys off the gattaling guns. I am thinking about redoig on insane but the thought of the mines is keeping me from doing it.

I found Hard mode too hard. :p I couldn't get the complete 1000.. O'well 800 is fine.. :p

I'm inclined to go with that one level where you get your first sniper and you have to defend the guy on the chain gun, but my vote definitely goes to Madruger's Mine/Madruger. Strange thing is, I had much less trouble with getting through the level than dealing with Madruger himself on phase 1 of the fight.

Who the F**K thought 'Oh for the last level, lets put the player in charge of a retarded cannon train that fires cannonballs with no splash damage and not give them any whiskey for the first (and hardest IMO) half of the mines? And lets top it off with the most infuriating boss fight ever seen to man where the boss is wearing CONQUISTADOR armour thats bulletproof, even the foreheads invincible!!!!'

Thats my rant. Love the game but the last level was just so so so stupid. I thought the Hoodoo boss fight was AWESOME!

I have yet to complete the boss fight and the game, but wow hes hard! Its the stupid dynamite that he just whips out of nowhere, and then bounces retardedly so I can't quick draw them away! Sigh.

dont know if I really should be tellin people this but my main thing was the hunting i shot those damm animals in the head,face every time an they just ran off laughing little buggers. the rest of the games sweet just do all the upgrades for hard and insane an the mine train you will prob have to do a few times to know where the bad guys sporn so you can pre shoot. Also get off that dumb train\cannon thing when ever you can and use your faithful irons

I beat the game 2 days ago, so its all good in the hood atm.

For the hunting, you need to use a bow, and sneak up on the animal until ia pop up says something like 'Put an arrow in its brain now!' or 'its in range for your arrow to destroy its brain for no apparent reason'. The hardest one for me was the mountain lion as I spooked it and instead of letting it respawn, I destroyed him with every gun I had, including my dynamite. Said something like 'Pelt was destroyed' but I got him anyways. Hope that helps!

I've only played it on Easy, and a few parts were hard for me anyway.

Like Holister, well, I died like twice against him, till I finally killed him.

Maurder, just figuring out what to do against him was annoying, forgot I had my dynamite bow....

Aiming that infernal cannon, I mean, I fire like two, three times, then I hit my target.

Fighting the guy on the stopped train, you know, the guy before Maurder himself, whatever his name was, since everyone else was trying to kill me as well, getting hit by all them bullets....

Finding the gold, which I finally founf the last one, thanks to the video....damn secret area underneath the hideout....

Hunting, man, that was just a bloody pain, but I did it in the end...

And all that, only on easy....

It took me a few tried to figure out that I had to close in to kill the white buffalo, but hunting wasn't a huge problem. The most annoying thing for me is when you complete a side mission out somewhere in the wilderness and all the horses disappear, forcing me to walk all the way back to town.

non-stacking achievements... I hate games like this that you are forced to replay to get achievements... the story isnt that bad... its just the point.

When I found out that to get the complete the game on easy, normal, hard and insane achievements you had to play the game once on easy, once on normal, once on hard, and once on insane...

The hunting got annoying at parts. That white buffalo ran away from me if i breathed within a mile of it. Killing Mcruder on insane was hard too.

I would say the hunting missions, especially since the game froze and I had to do them all over again (wasting a couple hours since I had done some other side missions as well).

But, I still completed the game that day with 1K, which was yesterday actually, heh.
