Well, for all of those who went and bought the Elite mainly for the uber sweet HDMI, you may have wasted some money.
Team Xtender is in the process of making an HDMI cable for the white 360. According to Xbox 360 Planet, this baby might be available in a mere four weeks.
This is concept picture of the XCM white 360 HDMI 1080P cable (the final design may differ from this picture). With its sleek design retractable nature, and TRUE DIGITAL OUTPUT. Team-xtender is again at the front of game accessories innovation.

Maybe I'm missing something. But how are you going to use an HDMI cable on the "white" 360 without there actually being an hdmi port? I'm going to assume you'd mod one in there somehow, but figured i'd ask.

Positive that there's no HDMI port.
From reading other places, the details are sketchy. Hopefully full specs will be released soon.

If anything it would convert a component signal to HDMI. You can get a component cable for the 360 now (RCA cable with red, green, and blue ends) that connects to HD tvs and allows you to get 780p, 1080i, and 1080p.
On the other hand since it has that large circular device in the middle of it I would guess one end plugs into the 360 and the other end would be an HDMI end. The box in the middle of the cable converts the signal to HDMI. If thats the case I believe the audio would be output with the video also. Just my thoughts.

Your white @$$ or the white 360's @$$? Haha, sorry I just had to ask!:p
On a serious note, good find Razzle! I bought an Elite, but I still don't have use for HDMI. Components are still the way for me until I upgrade to a bigger tv. This will be very handy for you guys without an Elite, but do have HDMI inputs.

These were my first assumptions. This sounds like nothing more than an AD convertor, minus the £300 tag? If that means i can then go from HDMI to DVI-D, i'm a bloody happy man (somebody tell me this theory rings true!).
This puts them up a notch in my book, after the bastard child of satan that is XFPS.

It'll be interesting to see how/if this works. Component video can not carry a 1080p signal, highest will be 1080i, so it couldn't just connect the two and convert. Judging from the picture it looks to be just an HDMI cable, much like any you'd find at a local electronics store. Minus the larger circular middle section. Which then would just be a 3rd part accessory for the elite or any other HDMI device. Now of course if its a matter of modding to include an hdmi port, well we all know anything is possible.....
