Boosting for this is not needed it can be done in single player, just wait untill your hand, make sure there is no time limit on, do your trick and wait 2-3 minutes for each AI to do a trick.

1. you may not all get on the same table.
2. Top player gets promoted every 5 minutes. Therefor you going to have AI players coming in on the table.

Worth a try though. I think ill work on the 5 mil achievement first though.

Yeh your guide, Have you tested this yet? But it's on your guide and it may not even work.

As soon as one of the human players gets promoted and you have an AI player on your table then your plan is useless.

Also i got put down to diamond last night(messing about after i got my 5million achievement) I didn't see any of you guys, infact not many human players.

This method is flawed, Good idea but prob harder than you think.

I prefer the add a friend method for witness fame. Although everyone i added last night kept getting demoted!

Wow, you don't know how this game works do you. Do you actually think that everyone is playing at the same 3 tables with 10 seats? Especially considering that there were over 10,000 people playing last night? NO, there are multiple lobbies. So unless somebody from my party invited you to our game, then the chances of you being in our game are very slim.

Secondly, there are 2 different methods of doing this listed on my guide, one is an easier way that boost one person at a time and the other is a harder way but will boost multiple people at a time. I am having a sign up for this so I can test it out. Kinda funny your blasting me for having something that I am trying to test out when if I recall correctly, you put achievement details for the DLC before the first game even started yesterday.

The reason I had all the answers before it started yesterday was simply because the answers are in the tutorials/references in the game menu!

There are many ways the method you are trying will fail. Unless you can get everyone the achievement in 1 session then you are guaranteed to loose 3 people to relegation. It has been said on other threads that this method will be hard.

Plus if MS look at stats and see one person getting boosted like that in a live show who knows what will happen.

Load up a single player tournament - There is no turn timer. Let your turn sit with you. Do a chip trick, Come back in 10 mins and the achievement should have unlocked.

The AI players will all do a chip trick at somepoint.

Anyways, back to the topic of this thread, I still need people to try out the boosting method for Texas Heat Gold Medal, need 6 more people to fill the table and some extras to help (extras will get help on achievement as well). Please sign up if you are interested

Yes, while Microsoft can make getting a gold medal easier, from what I have seen so far, it could be difficult. I played all the games Saturday/Sunday and the most I could get was 15,000 xp and the highest was over 20,000

1) It requires 10 players on the same table in a Texas Heat match.
2) It requires cooperation and precision.
3) It requires no network issues.
4) It requires the gold medal achievement to be working.

If any of the above conditions are not met, it won't work.

At this moment in time, at least 2 of the above conditions cannot be met.

The gold medal one is glitched, the 5,000,000 is not. I am having sign ups for boosting on my achievement guide. If the Gold Medal is not attainable by Saturday, then we will be boosting other achievements like the 5,000,000 chips achievement

You don't really need to boost now. I managed to get it just making sure I played the entire match on triple diamond. Granted, this might require a bit of luck to build up a bankroll, but the x20% really helps.

Alright, scratch my previous posts. Putting together a 30 person group to get this terrible achievement out of the way. I've been in several groups and everyone keeps on doing their own thing. It results in NO ONE GETTING ANYTHING DONE! So:

1. Everyone folds unless they are the blinds. If you are a blind, check until the end.
2. EVERYONE FOLDS unless you are the blinds.
3. Even if your hand is a royal flush, you will fold unless you are the blinds.
4. Everyone gets the achievement if we do this correctly so don't mess around like the last bunch I was with.

Easiest way to get It's Like The Wave is to start up a single player game with full table, do a trick and just leave the game running for a few minutes (don't do anything on the hand). Should unlock after a few minutes.

The two achievement guides on this site both explain how to get the chip trick in single player. Maybe they were not clear enough so for your conveinence I will attempt to explain it more clearly here.

Start up a single player 10 person tournament.
Set Turn Timers off. (This is the clock)
Perform a chip trick.
Now simply wait until all the computer players at the table perform a chip trick. (It may take 10 minutes). The achievement will pop when the last of all the CPU player performs a chip trick.

I believe finding an online partner for boosting the "Win 1 million in a hand" achievement would be a good idea, as you actually have to WIN $1m, not just win a 1 mil pot. My assumption would be play $250k standard, rebuy rebuy until each player has a million, trade wins, voila.

Gold Medal are very easy to obtain in Texas Heat, and 10k hands too :)

But I'm not here for that, I'm looking for a player having the DLC Springs 2011.
I would like him to upload it for me so that I can try to unlock those achievements.

Copy/paste DLC on a USB key (previously formatted with your console), open the hide folder "Xbox360" with Dr Emuler on your computer and look for DLC spring 2011, copy it on your desktop, upload it & link it here. It would be really appreciable.

I think it may work cuz it's a Free DLC, and I got the Summer 2011 chievo in 2012, so...

I'd be grateful for the one who upload it and I guess that a lot of players too, if it works.
