I-Phone comming. Excited, not excited, what? I rarely use my phone, but some of my best mates are gonna get one, so I can just mess around with their's. Price tag to heavy with me, though love the idea. Cohearsing mom into getting her to get one for herself (SO I CAN UZE) is harder than you think!

(hopefully this can be posted in this section, even though its not 360 related)

I've thought very long and hard about the iPhone and whether or not to get one. I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather wait until around Christmas maybe. Hopefully by then the price will have come down, glitches and bugs will be fixed, and some add on applications will be out for it. To be honest its just hard for me to switch companies; I have Verizon and have ever since I worked at Radioshack where I sold it, as a matter of fact I'm still on an employee package that only costs me $20 /month. They can't change it unless I change my plan, I can change phones, do new contracts and all that, but I'm just not sure if I want to shell out twice as much month per month and switch to Cingular, AT&T whatever you want to call it. I'm definitely excited about it though, I've become somewhat of an Apple fanboy since I got a Macbook last Christmas.

I don't think it is worth it. I have an iPod, I have a phone. I would never spend that much money on a device that merely takes the place of two that I already have, and work fine.

For what you get, I think there are others that come close, for a cheaper price. You are paying for the brand.

You are paying for the brand.

To an extent, yes. But much like with Apple computers, you're paying for the "experience", and the OS. There is no OS to rival what the iPhone has in terms of usability and aesthetics, end of. Whether it's worth selling both kidneys and a lung to pay for it is another matter altogether.
