This step by step guide starts at mission 4 and ends at mission 6

Level 4.)

At the start of mission 4, you have no demon energy, so you will have to gun down your enemies old school style. Once you have enough energy, begin using flame shot to quickly pick off enemies. When the first hellicopter shows up, DO NOT use lightning on it! In hell mode Lightning has no effect on them, and it will leave you with too little energy to combat the enemy. For this level, i suggest taking out enemies form hellicopters in this fashion. Wait for them to come down the ropes, and make sure your standing parrallel to the ropes so the two line up. This will guarantee that while you use the railgun on them, you are constently hitting targets. After those troops are dead, keep moving until you incounter the second hellacopter. Again, dont use lightning, just hide behind the fallen tree and wait for all the troops to exit the chopper. Now use ravens panic and confuse your enemies. Here, you can either light em up with fire shot or toss rose spears at em, which ever works best. After that, its easy enough to reach the bridge. At the bridge just gun down all in your way and make it to the other end. Ignore the giant and kill all enemies at the end of the bridge, ensuring your safety. Now, blow the barrels at the bridges base and send the giant falling straight to hell :D. Now, once the hellacopter arrives, release the inner demolitions expert in you and shoot every flamable thing in sight. The devistation you cause should thin the enemy numbers to a favorable ammount. Then just torch the rest and make your way to the tunnel. Get through the tunnel and face the horde outside. There are quite a few so make sure to use ravens to distract them while the throw roses at them. Torch all others and make your way to the inside of the base. I warn you that this was the point in the game where i had the most difficulty so dont be suppriesed you die oftern :( When you start you are surrounded. Immediatly throw ravens at the three enemies to your front. Then run at them and hide behind the tank as you kill them. Next focus your attention on the two to your back. Now your gunna have to clear out the base of all demon troops. Once they are dead you will be faced with the challange of taking out six hellacopters worth of soldiers. It proves to be very hard, so remember to use either the gatling gun tactic in which you shoot them as they come out, or send out the ravens, and spear them. This proves to be a slow paced strategy but it will leed to victory.

Level 5.

What is a good strategy for this level? you may ask... Well its not all that simple. First off know this. From this point on, tanks are pretty much invincible, so running would be an excelent strategy once you reach them. The most difficult part of the level all takes place before you reach the villige. Once inside, the level isnt all that complex, but getting to the villige proves very irritating. I have devised two strategys for this part. Either you can use elemental shot with the sniper and snipe out everyone at a distance, or you can try to run past em. While Sniping is very time consuming, it almost always meets with success. The problem area takes place when you reach a small wodden bridge. BE CAREFUL HERE. The bridge can be destroyed, and if it is you cant get across, have fun starting over. Also note that the enemies comin over the bridge are bezerkers. They charge at you like horny monkeys and once they hit you once your toast. They stun you, and do a bunch of Jet Lee moves on your face until you die. Make sure to cross the bridge as soon as possible inorder to earn a checkpoint. The valley infront of you is tricky to cross, just keep jumping and jumping until you rach the villige. Qucikly evade the enemy and run to the church, use ravens to keep the fast demons busy while you fight the zombies in the church if you have to. Inside throw a rose to spear everything inside. Afterwords, you will be forced to go threw the woods. Just stay to the left side and keep running until you find the barricades. This part is tough but do-able. Use ravens to bide you some time while you jump into the first barricade. Wip out the gatling gun and smoke all ghouls in there. For the next barricade, again use ravens and roses. Be wary of the fire spitting zombies approaching from behind. Continue the raven-rose-railgun combo until you achieve victory.

Level 6

In This level your going to want to keep your rifle on fire constently. Burning up the enemy is key in this level do to the fact that you are going to be facing the most difficult troops in the game in large numbers. At the start wipe out the troops coming down the ropes form the chooper. Then light your gun up, and head down the streets. Fry everything in your path until you reach the giant. Giants in level 6 are very tricky. They are always guarded by hard to see troops, so getting close is not advised. First off light em on fire. While they spass out concentrate your fire on the patch covering his heart. It takes time, but he will go down leaving the floating brain unprotected. Next, woop sum ass in those close quarters using flaming bullets. After the cut scene, flame the two troops in front and snipe out the sniper at the far end. Then light up the brain to open up the next area. Soon you will be encountering, what i call, THE GAUNTLET. Stupid i know, but its no joke. You will come to a part in which two tanks are blockin your way, behind them is a giant. This is the beginning of the gauntlet. I call it the gauntlet because the tanks are nearly invincible. THis forces you to run. You will have to past the tanks, the giant, then another couple tanks and one more giant. Continue running and luckily you will live long enough to reach the final boss... SAITAN!!1 (i know he isnt saitan, but jesus thats gotta be close) Once you reach him, wip out the railgun and aim at the mouth in his chest. When the ghosts start coming, blow em away. Ghosts are no joke anymore, 2 ghosts are enough to kill you, so make sure you shoot as many down as possible. When the shield goes down get real close and put elemental shot on your railgun and shoot the skulls on his knees. When both are brocken, Aim for his head and show no mercy. Your boss tells you that his weak point is the back, but realy, is takes damage to the head, back and the base of his snake arm. Once he flies away, its time to rain hell down on his ass. Get behind him and keep putting elemental shot on your railgun and fry his back. He will spazz out every now and then, proof that your hurten him pretty bad. The rest is obvious. Watch out for his ghosts, his snake fire and MOST IMPORTANT, his Drop kick. If you are anywhere near him and he dose a drop kick, JUMP! Its very likely that the drop kick will kill you every time so try to keep your distance once his snakes are dead. Once your told to finish him, he will start walking to the far end. DONT SHOOT HIM. If you mess with him, he will keep fighting, which isnt needed at all. Keep on his heals until he reaches the end and turns around. Now, the moment of truth... The Coup-de-Grace. Call down the meteor shower and watch the fire works. He wont die untill the last meteor hits, so back the hell up and shoot down all ghosts, THAY CAN STILL KILL YOU. Once he goes down, you should stand up and stretch, maybe crack open a beer, or do a victory dance. For you, a Champion, has just achieved a monsterous achievment worth ONE WHOLE POINT!!!!1 CONGRATS TO YOU :D :D :D

If by chance you are still having trouble and need sum advice, then feel free to add me to your firnds list and we will chat it up. My Gamer tag is............... Duke18

One minor addition I'd like to make after having just completed this game finally on Hell mode. The tanks are never indestructible. The same tactic that works on them on Easy still works on them on Hell (it just takes more bullets, about 30 or so cannon shots).

In case you don't know what to do, you want to aim for one of the two holes on the tank. They look almost like bullseyes and one is on the front (center left of front side) and another is on the left side (at the rear of the side). You'll want to use your cannon (sniper rifle) to hit these from afar, hopefully while they are still out of range and won't shoot you. On hell mode it takes a little over a full clip to blow them up.

I still recommend you dodge and jump past "the gauntlet" because it takes sooooo long to kill everything otherwise.

Also, on the final boss, be aware that his attacks are slightly different from any other level in two locations.

1. When the cutscene that you CAN'T SKIP shows him flying to one end of the battlefield (after knocking down his shield and doing damage while he is hovering) he will SOMETIMES cast a fireball during the cutscene that will hit AND KILL YOU before the cutscene is over. To avoid this, when he is hovering and begins to make the "draw-back his arm and then fly over the field" animation, jump. The cutscene will then begin while you are jumping and the fireball will miss you.

2. His geyser summoning will no longer be just a single location but will actually follow you a bit after the initial geyser has exploded. Keep moving and you'll be fine.

Final point regarding the boss: I always killed him using Lightning rather than Meteor at the end. You have no chance of dying to your own attack, BUT you must be pretty close for you to be able to hit him with Lightning.

Not to bad .. but you should have said right from the get go .. YOU WILL DIE NUMEROUS TIMES AND YOUR CONTROLLER MIGHT END UP GOING THROUGH THE TV SET ON OCCASION. and i guess your missing the first three levels which even on hell mode are hard .. its not complete if its not complete know what i mean.

Thanks again for all the detail you put into your guide. It beats this level is hard, try not to die to much... I thought this game was pretty fun although it lacked a good grenade and the shotgun was useless for me as well. The fire machine gun saved me a lot of time getting through the levels. It felt good to step on that eyeball for that one gamer point.
