Is this game worth it?

Hey i can Get this game used for $30 dollars is it worth the money since many of the riews said it sucked.

For 30 dollars of course I really enjoyed the game and i payed 50 -.-

It does, IF:
- you like old-school japanese action games (from dynasty warriors to lost planet or EDF), cheesy dialogues and non-existent AI included. Forget Ninja Gaiden, it's not the same league (except for the stupid plot).
- you can get past some minor technical issues (check the videos on the internet). Most reviews stated that the game suffers from frame-rate issues, but I didn't notice any.
- if you don't mind beating a game 4 or 5 times to get achievements and power-ups. Playing through all difficulty settings is worth it if you like the game, because the higher the difficulty, the better it gets (like ninja gaiden).
- if you are willing to play the way the game wants you to: if you use all your spells and try to get high rankings, you'll have fun. If you just run from checkpoint to checkpoint (and you could do that, at least on easy/normal difficulty), it's a waste of time, like playing devil may cry without trying to perform Stylish combos, or Tenchu without being sneaky.

... I think it's a good game, but I didn't expect that I would be able to list that many flaws in a couple minutes. Anyway, Bullet Witch is not only about sexy outfits and spectacular spells: there's some good gameplay here, if you're patient enough. And yes, you can get a lot of gamerscore points real fast.;)

I have a massive amount of respect for anyone who plays this through more than once. IMHO one of the most painfull games I've been through to the end (and I've played some crap honest - just check my profile!)

King Kong was painful, nuff said lmao.

Been waiting for god damn price drop on this game forever now and it hasn't dropped at all. Is this game even selling or what? Well, I'll still be waiting to get the game new for 30 or less and if used for at least 20 then indeed I shall buy.

I just finished getting 1000 in this game and i gotta tell you it was painful. Not an easy 1000, mostly becuase the achievment for finishing the game on the hardest mode was worth 1 gp. No joke. I guess its worth playing but its hard and short. If yur looking to buy cheap, check e-bay. lol got mine for $21 :D

I also just finished getting the 1000 in it and the game definatly gets challenging when your playing on the Hell difficulty. Took me over 2 hours to beat the last level. Overall I had fun playing the game. I would always at least get a smirk on my face whenever I would use the fire bullets on a Geist and hear them scream something like "Put me out" or something along those lines.

I took a lot of breaks while playing it, come back to it after a few months and play a harder level. Now that I beat it I don't think I'll be playing it just for the fun of it. I think it was a game with a lot of potential but they just didn't quite put enough into it to make into a great game. Like after casting a spell your stuck in a mini cut scene and the sniper is weak it takes 2 or 3 head shots to kill a zombie dude. It just needs a whole hell a lot of polishing and it could have been a good game. It a 50/50 game if your like me and will play any FPS then buy it, if your looking for Halo 3 graphics and game play then save your money.
