I just plug mine into the USB port on the front and WHAM! It works... Stop putting it in the ethernet socket at the back, that might help ;)

What are you trying to use it for mate? Keyboards can only be used for sending messages and navigating the Dashboard as far as i know.

Sending messages,
and using it with final fantasy when it finally turns up

I use a wireless keyboard with my 360 and FFXI and all I did was plug the receiver into the back USB port and then just clicked the Connect button on the receiver and the keyboard. I've noticed that some non-name brand keyboards malfunction or just plain won't work. My roommate got some cheap keyboard to use with FFXI and atleast once a day he has to reconnect the keyboard in order for it to read properly.

I would advise you to pick up a Microsoft or Logitech keyboard in order to have the best chance of getting it to work.

I bought an adaptor that switches ps2 to usb,
tried 5 different keyboards all different brands and none worked,
from microsoft to ben q.
:(

Went to argos yesterday bought a usb keyboard for £9 worked straight away.
:)
So if anyone else wnats to use a keyboard on the 360 avoid buying a ps2/usb adaptor and just buy a usb keyboard.

Flea, get a Microsoft media USB keyboard - thats the one I got £15 from ASDA, I use that one all the time and it works perfectly. ;)
