i just played a few hours of BF2 on the pc. decited to take a break after being spawnkilled and all that, cant wait for the d/l to get done:Bounce::nana:D:bow::woop:

Argh! I hate how it does a quick match for you. Now to play with friends you have to join in progress. Annoying. All I wanted to do was try and fly the heli and now I have to look like an ass in front of the team as I try. :D

This is just like BF1942. (Keep in mind I haven't played a BF game since 1942) Every one camps to wait for helis (planes in BF1942) and tanks along while getting team killed by some jackass. Good times.

I use to be into the BF1942 series too. I was going to get BF2 for the computer when it came out, but my friends got me hooked on WoW. Now I've wasted about $200 on WoW, and I still need to get BF2. Hopefully my parents will see why I need another game for my birthday.

I've already seen it in the demo and I've had enough. The good thing about BF1942 is that I was in a clan and we had our own server. On our server we could kick or perma ban people from it so it was great.

I just wish people weren't assholes about this stuff. I'm really looking forward to playing this game with a couple of buddies of mine. I just don't want to be going for a heli or tank and get killed because some one else wants it. :(

I was in a clan too. In our clan server, if you teamkilled once, you got a warning. If you teamkilled again, perma-ban until they could show us why we should let them play on it again. Of course, I got perma-banned lots because noobs would run infront of me and I would headshot them.:(

The Demo is nice .. but i think ballancing is crap ... sniper set is to good ... sniper has:

Radio (Detect all enemys on map)
Laser gun (to kill vehicles)
Sniper (1shot 1 kill)
Silenced Pistol
Smoke Granade

so i safe the bridge on demo map i have k/d ratio of 5/1

The Helicopters are Bullshit .. hard to control and down with 1 antiair ...

The Killcam is realy shit .. i hope its only in demo

The Demo is nice .. but i think ballancing is crap ... sniper set is to good ... sniper has:

I haven't tried the sniper yet. I'll check it out and see all that stuff. It does sound really unbalanced. No wonder I was getting killed by 1 sniper shot so easily.

The heli are very hard to control. I've gotten the hang of it but I suck when I'm getting shot at by another heli. I can't seem to shot them down.

From what I've played of the BF2 Demo, I would say that GRAW is a better game. Its easy to control as a sniper, and theres not as many spawn rapers trying to get Heli's because there are no Heli's.

Hey Buckling Leader we got into a game together! :D

I was flying the heli with 4 others in it and took out that enemy heli. I thought to myself "Oh great I haev 4 passengers and I'm going to get shot out of the sky" I got him though. :D Then we got blew up by a rocket :(

I'm actually pretty good at it now. I've been blasting others out of the sky big time. I've also been playing with a buddy of mine and we get a private chat going and it's a blast.

Jea .. the heli control is Bullshit ...

I fly 4 Nationalteam on BF2 PC ... and i hit only once a person and gamed the demo ca. 4 h

Maybe the alternate controll is better ... but that the heli can explode in heli field ? WTF .... try it .. if u start and press that he will go down the heli explodes ... he never make a move but explode on the field ... that sucks

Well, after spending a few hours tonight with the demo and playing with a buddy of mine I'm going to say this is a purchase for me. I had my doubts with some of the negative comments on other boards but after trying it, I'm buying it.

The game is just fun. In the games I'm in every role has a purpose and depending on how you play that class can make a team. So many roles I like and I change all the time during the game. My favorites are the engineer, special ops and sniper. I like to start out with the engineer because just about every one on the other team will be in a vehicle so I like to set my land mines and ready my big rocket launcher on the smaller jeeps. (Sometimes you can blast a heli too!) Special Ops for the all around combat with a little C4 of course and then the sniper for when my team has all or most of the objectives and you're just sitting back and defending.

The vehicles are fun. Just like I remember from BF1942. The heli is a blast to fly. I really got the hang of it and I've been complimented on my flying and bombing.

The game feels just like BF1942 to me. I like to play the support role like I did in BF1942. I like to transport people in the heli to places and then blow shit up while flying. I like to grab a vehicle and drive to the objectives while my gunners are blasting away. Finally, it's back and I love it.

i find this the baddest .. becouse .. shoot once with ur shotgun on ur mines and they explode... very realistic ;-)

the engineer is best, you can blow up ppl with the rocket launcher, did that alot last nite

This has got the be the best online warfare xperience Ive ever had, Im looking foward to this game, and Ill try not to ge the achievements... if I get them Ill get em, but I wont worry on them....this demos makes me want to get the game as soon as it comes out!

Oh and if anyone wants to start a clan, Im down.. Im good with Snipers, Ans Special Ops (3rd or 2nd option down) And I kno the demo stage like the back of my head....

Anyone good with helicopters?

Best moment of the game is when I shot a guy outa a helicopter from far away, I felt uber awsome then!!!!
