I just finished playing through the 21 tracks on the disc. I've unlocked all the achievements I'll be able to. I still want to try to 5 star Ring of Fire on hard vocals. I might be able to do that.

Achievement tip for getting gold stars on a song. I played the Merle Haggard song on expert bass. It is a short song. There are 5 spots to fill up your overdrive bar. I triggered overdrive after the 3rd and 5th fillup.

maybe a trick for Ring of Fire but have you tried to do it with another player alsp play and gaining 5 stars together since it don´t say Solo in it???

I tried over 10+ times to get the Gold Stars on that Merle Haggard song and just can't do it no matter where I use the Overdrive. I'm hitting 100% notes every time, so it's just that I can't get my score high enough or something. My best score using Overdrive in the spots you suggested is 38,674. I'm guessing Gold Star is at 39,000 Points then?

You're actually a lot closer than you think. My highest score (which I'm pretty sure is the gold star) was at 38,738.

FINALLY got Gold Star on "Mama Tried" on Expert Bass. My score was 38,750. I activated Overdrive IMMEDIATELY after the 3rd fill and IMMEDIATELY at the 5th fill. I think the key to Gold Staring that song is to maximize the whammy at the very end since I was so close so many times and could never score just enough points.

hey, I haven't played that merle song on bass yet but wanted to let y'all know i got gold stars on expert guitar "crazy town" by Jason Aldean- without even trying! I'm not the greatest at guitar on these games, so hopefully this helps someone out there. my score was 83,598.

just got it on expert but the game forced me to use the 360 headset.... which is a piece of crap.

I really hate the rb1 engine.. its so horrible <.<. Its actually the main reason for me hating this track pack... hopos system is bad. Cant connect my mic etc etc.

How odd????? Just got the Wild Desire achievement using the normal wired RB mic.

Anyone got any tips for the 90 overdrive with 2 players?

Thanks for the Tip, I just got it on this song with a score of 38 703. My guess is that you need 38 700 for gold stars seeing that I got it at the very end of the note. Its a very easy song as well.

the easiest song to gold star is by playing guitar on the song "Party For Two". Very easy song.

Just to add some more info using Mama Tried. I got the gold star with 38,688 and I hit the star power immediately after the 3rd and 5th phrase, but not fast enough to get the first note after each phrase.
