hi guys, i got an email from game last night (in uk) about a preorder i placed for this game, and it says that it has been pushed back and the new release date is november 16th. thats in uk at least, i don't know about the rest of the world. Has anyone heard it?

That means that it ships on the 9th(US version). We won't see it in stores in the midwest till at the earliest Wed, Oct 10. Love how they always advertise the ship date. Any one have a clue what the meaning is behind the name 'Orange Box'?

I am more excited about this game than Halo 3, especially TF2. I played Team Fortress Classic religiously until the servers went down. Portal looks right up my alley of games to make your brain explode too.

one more week. I dont think this game will blow any doors off in terms of sales. It's almost as if this game is under the radar with all of the excellent titles coming out in the next two months.

Since its such a great deal, 5 games for 1, i think it will sell great. besides if you no anything about video games you know the name half-life. Im sure it will do just fine in sales ;)

Personally im pumped for this one. everyone keeps going on about Team Fortress so i cant wait to see what thats all about. Portal looks like a blast, all kinds of crazyness going on and shit :) But most of all im looking forward to the half-life and the expansions which are supposedly just as long if not longer then the game itself.

I would buy this game even if it was just portal all by its lonesome. I have been playing "Narbacular Drop" that the game is based off of. this is going to rock.

Of course, playing HL2 again will be welcomed.

I know someone who works at Gamestop, and he said that the game is not street dated, so if any Gamestops get it in today (Tuesday), they technically can sell it. Chances are though we will have to wait one more day.

Can you tell I'm anxious to play? TFC owned my soul back in the day and I can't wait to get back into the game.

Doesn't this game come out the 10th of October, not the 9th? I always see commercials advertising 10-10-07. I remember because the two tens next to each other had a weird symbol for the zeros.

The game ships on the 9th, but very rarely the games get sent to the stores same day. If that's the case, and my friend is correct, they could sell it today. From the places that I called though, no one has it. I know less than 24 hours won't kill me, but that means I need to play Halo 3 for one more night. :p

Just ran to my local gamestop and picked it up... unfortunately, I had food poisoning earlier this week and I have to make up my hours at work. So that means I'll be playing TF2 two hours later than I wanted to... UGH!! :P
