Ice Magic?

Every time I try to make an ice spell, it says "Invalid Spell" or something like that. The weird thing is it's ONLY ice magic. Earth, Fire, Air and everything else works fine. Anyone else have this? Am I doing something wrong? Making an ice missile worked for the Shipwreck quest, but every time since then, it doesn't matter what I do, I can't make an ice spell. Am I doing something wrong?

The "Ice" card is a part of Water Magick since, afterall, Ice is frozen Water. Perhaps the spells you were making were higher than your Water skill. A low level spell would be to use one each of the Ice, Missile carrier and Damage modifier cards.
