View Full Version : Puzzle Genius achievement glitched - suggestions?

Ok, so I've unlocked every other achievement besides Puzzle Genius, so I have found all squares and missing jigsaw pieces.

I quadruple checked every jigsaw, square and slider, and each and every one of them has a best time-stamp, meaning I've completed it.

I also bought the DLC, and finished all the jigsaws and squares in it, unlocking the related achievements.

But for some reasons, 'Puzzle Genius', awarded for completing all (non-DLC) puzzles, fails to unlock for me.

I uninstalled the game, wiped the cache, then replayed a whole bunch of level 1 and 2 puzzles - to no avail.

Can anybody offer any suggestions or do I have restart from scratch? I'd hate to go through another 30+ hours grind for just one achievement.

Did you manage to get your cheeve? I don want to start this game and then dont be available to complete it.

I tried re-doing a dozen or so puzzles but that didn't help. So I started a new game and am in the slow process of doing everything again.

I think it glitched because I started a new game when I failed to notice the Big 50 achievement. Having 2 save game files, something must have screwed up there. It seems to be a rare glitch as I haven't found anybody else with the same problem. So I would say you're propably safe starting to play as long as you don't keep multiple saves on the same storage device. Of course that ïs just speculation on my part.

How many sliders did you do? I completed the quest 100% and I got only 5 sliders in each category (not 6 like the other puzzles).

Victory! After starting a new game, I finished the last puzzle today, and the achievement unlocked straight away! :woop:

Seems I was overly pessimistic in my opening post, as this run (Quest mode & all puzzles) took only 19 instead of the feared 30+ hours. :D

Also, five stars and almost 500 views for this thread? :biglaugh

@MeesterLuther: 5 slider puzzles in each category. Both times.
