Best tips I can give with freeway runs are these;

1. Despite looking close chances are you won't hit a car if you just leave the steering alone. You'll probably notice that a majority of the time you do have a collision, bump a car or crash it's because you were trying to avoid hitting some other obstacle. When going flat out the steering can seem a bit laggy on some cars so by the time you've turned a little it's gone too far, you've over-steered and you are then trying to compensate. If can barely touch the steering, use a really light touch it becomes second nature to dodge cars.

2. Don't be afraid to drive on the wrong side of the road. You build up boost for a start, plus as the cars always have their headlights on they can be easier to see than traffic going in the same direction. You can see pretty far ahead an plan which lane to go in. Blind crests (hills) and turns are a problem so it's often a good idea to switch back over to right lane if you're feeling vunerable.

3. Try a different car. I tried this one with the carbon-fibre Koensiegger? CCX thingy. I struggled. For some reason I had a hard time dodgey traffic with it, so went with the McLaren which was much more comfortable and did it first go.

4. Practice, practice, practice.

5. Go do a different event for a bit. It's amazing how many times I'd fail an event over and over and over. Go do something else for a bit, come back and get it first time.

I wonder if that's what Mr Bean was trying to do with his McLaren?

This one is a bitch, scary thing is I tried this 3 times, each time 20 seconds late from distinction and the 4th time using the same car (McLaren) I got distinction by 11 seconds, not a single penalty - I kicked ass :P I don't think I drifted or breaked a single time, when near traffic, I just swerved passed them, let go of the accelerator at times. There was still a lot of traffic but I guess I got lucky. It was my second last event until I finally got True Blue today.

Rapid Response = really hard
I'm lucky I have a friend who can do all of them in 1 or 2 tries getting Distinction ..
I did like 2 or 3 myself .. he did the rest:woop:

This one was a real bitch. However, I will let you know that a bigger TV and HDMI connection at 1080p really helped. Actually, I was playing on an older 57" but with only composite video since I'm having some issues with the HDMI connection on it but I moved over to my main TV which is a 52" DLP with HDMI 1080p connected and I passed it on my third try after about 2 hours of failing the last two nights on the 57". You basically can't hit anything but the trick is to slow down when going through the tunnels and when you reach packs of cars then just boost when its clear on a straight away. Try to always stay near the median when the road is open so you can avoid traffic by hitting the cones or something which doesn't give you penalties.

This one was bugging me too! I finally did it last night, I actually found it much easier to turn my light's and siren off, by doing that I managed to see the cars a little bit sooner so I could avoid them, instead of 1 second before I smash into the back of them. By doing it this way I got it on my second go. Hope this helps.

I was very frustrated with this one, as it was my last for the gold cop cheevo. After few tries i figured out that instead of avoiding traffic all time it's way better to drive on the roadside when possible (except tunnels and few other short parts when there are no roadsides). I got gold on the first run using this strategy :)
