No longer able to play online?!?

So I came home from working and wanted to play some Hot Pursuit with friends. However, I am receiving an error message stating "Join Game Failed: Incompatible Version -The session you are trying to join is running a different version." I am unable to locate this 1.1 update on Xbox.com and it is not prompting me for the update when I start up my Xbox. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and/or knows how to fix it?

You have probably already solved this issue by now, but sign out and sign back in again. The game should prompt you to download the 1.1 update at the title screen. The update (or the DLC for that matter) are not located in the marketplace.

I've tried this many times to no avail. My guess would be that EA took the title update down until they fix the problem some people are having with losing all their game stats/ranks.
