"can not connect to xbox live"

anyone else getting this message? i cant unlock achievements or compare game with friends, but yet it shows up on my gamercard

Yup, I have had the same problem. Screwed me out of two achievements because it couldn't verify with XBL.

I ended up turning off my wi-fi and before I knew an achievement would pop I would verify that I had Live connectivity before I would do the race. I still have to waste about an hour and redo a bunch of stuff to get two achievements that the game fucked me on.

I get the same message. These cheevos are as glitchy as "Guitar Hero 5 Mobile", but at least this is almost fun.

when you start the game, go to achievements and if youre not connected to XBL, there will appear a message

To fix this, just exit out of the game, then jump back in :)

Whatever I do it will not connect, I submitted this to iplay who say they are going to patch it but who knows

Have you tried deleting the game, then redownloading it? Not sure if it'll work, but it tends to fix a lot of WP7 games
