I am pretty sure it is random. Although thinking about it, it could be based on the number of overall points you get in the preliminaries. I might have to test it given the chance.

It's Jack, and I think it's entirely random. I had Jack show up before Yusei and got Jack's Achievement before Yusei's.

same here, i had Jack in the finals like 10 times before Yusei appeared and still, at that time i wasnt able to beat Leo with my pitiful deck so i didnt get to him :P

But now its all done

I am pretty sure it depends on the amount of points you get now. In my last two games i have gotten around 600 points and i have the oppertunity to duel Jack in the final.

I don't think thats right. I had 1100 points one time and I didn't get jack. I didn't care though because I already beat him.
